Deborah Williams is the elected Toronto District School Board (TDSB) Trustee for Ward 10 (University–Rosedale and Toronto Centre), serving our communities since November 2022. She is an advocate for equitable, fully‑funded public education, with a strong focus on student achievement, well‑being, safety, and belonging.

Recent legislative changes have resulted in the number of trustees being reduced and TDSB ward boundaries being expanded. Deborah Williams is running for re-election in the expanded boundaries of TDSB Ward 7 (University-Rosedale, Toronto-St.Paul’s, and Toronto Centre).

Before becoming a trustee in 2022, Deborah Williams was first a parent volunteer at local schools providing collaborative leadership on School Councils between 2012 and 2022, and the TDSB’s Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) beginning in 2013 and including a leadership role as the PIAC Co-Chair (2014-2016 and 2018-2021).

I’m a parent, a supporter of public education, and deeply rooted in the communities I serve.

You elected me as your school board Trustee in 2022 to represent TDSB Ward 10 (University-Rosedale and Toronto Centre) at the Toronto District School Board and I delivered real results for all of us. I rolled up my sleeves and immediately got to work serving on several standing committees and community advisory committees including leadership as Chair on the Program and School Services Committee (PSSC), the Trustee Co-Chair on the Urban Indigenous Community Advisory Committee (UICAC), Trustee Co-Chair on the French Student Achievement Community Advisory Committee (FSACAC), and Trustee Co-Chair on the Early Years Community Advisory Committee (EYCAC).

I’m running for re‑election in 2026 for TDSB Ward 7 (University‑Rosedale, Toronto St.Paul’s, and Toronto Centre). I’m committing to public service and dedicated to improving student achievement and well-being, because I believe that strong schools build strong communities, and every student deserves opportunities to reach their full potential.
